Depression and low mood are known symptoms of menopause and the transition to menopause. If you are feeling depressed during this time of life you are not alone!
Some tips:
* get support!
* make sure if you are seeing an ob-gyn they are NAMS certified (menopause.org)
*prioritize sleep
* MHT (menopause hormone replacement)
* exercise to get those endorphins up!
* meditation / mindfulness/ breath work
* social support
* avoid alcohol
* get outside! Morning sun (even in the winter)
